My husband and I had a 2nd floor room with a balcony view, which was perfect for sunrises & susets. Room was clean. The bed was super comfy. Price was reasonable & the staff's customer service was exceptional . It was also in walking distance to restaurants, the beach, shopping & ice cream.i highly recommend this establishment
We stayed for the 4th of July holiday. Upon our early arrival, the family was very friendly. Even though our room was not ready yet they allowed us to park in their lot for the day while we went to the beach. The room was good for a beach motel. It was clean. Since there was only one pillow per person, they gave us each another pillow for the night. We were on the second floor with a great view of the fireworks that evening. The family was very helpful recommending local restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Had a great time! Going to make reservations for next year!
My sisters and I have stayed at the Point 1 Resort Motel for the past 13 years. We have nothing but positive things to say. Many fond memories have been made there. We've met a slew of great people. The rooms are always clean and the owners are very accommodating. It's less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and numerous places to dine. We will continue to make this our #1 spot to stay when visiting RI.
I've stayed here 4 times during the summer to go to the beach and beach bars and I have no idea why people are saying this place is musty? I never had that smell or experience. Owners are great. it is a little dated but what do you want for a beach hotel? its worth the stay from my experience.
We stayed Columbus Day weekend for the sand castle competition at Misquamicut Beach. We have stayed here multiple times over the years. The owners our very nice and hard working people! They run the resort by themselves and keep the rooms very clean and give you what you need! The price point is great for walking distance to the beach! We definitely will return! We always do!!

Giving it 5 stars because it was clean enough n decent basic room for price. Extremely close to beach (5 min) walk which is exactly what this mother needed after shoulder surgery 8 days ago. Staff were also polite n curtous let us check in 2 hours early which I didn't anticipate! If u want convenience to beach n standard, quiet, peaceful room suitable for kids for couple nights at decent price this is the place to go!
It’s a place to rest your head at night with a pretty view from the deck. We brought our own pillows and blankets to be cozy. It served its purpose and we all had a good time. The kids enjoyed cartoons with cable tv. We will stay here again next summer!
